About the event
Dr. Collett is a board-certified eye surgeon who is passionate about optimizing vision and providing modern ophthalmic care. He focuses on cataract and ocular surface surgeries. His approach to cataract extraction often involves advanced technology intraocular implants or microincision astigmatism corrections. Dr. Collett is one of the few local ophthalmologists to have a certification in ocular surface reconstruction.
Dr. Collett's journey to becoming an eye surgeon required 13 years of education and training split between Miami and Boston. His current solo practice is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, a fully accredited surgical suite, and serves as an FDA clinical trial site.
In addition to his commitment to excellent patient care, Dr. Collett is half Latino and fully fluent in Spanish. He is passionate about the Hispanic community and offers an unparalleled patient experience to anyone who prefers communicating in Spanish.
