About the event
Our speaker is Dr. Salman Rahman, who was born in Augusta, Georgia and grew up in Sugar Land, TX. He received his bachelor’s degree from Rice University, graduating summa cum laude. He then obtained his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. After completing an internship in internal medicine, Dr. Rahman did ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine’s Cullen Eye Institute. Following residency, he completed a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Subsequently, he had an additional year of training in ocular oncology at University of California San Francisco.
Dr. Rahman is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Retina Specialists.
